ABOUT

My work has always lived at the intersection of body and mind, science and creativity, discipline and pleasure.
I began as a professional dancer and went on to become a director, movement specialist, personal trainer, coach, educator, entrepreneur, and somatic practitioner. Along the way, I became increasingly fascinated not simply by what our bodies can do, but by how profoundly they shape the way we feel, connect, rest, love, have sex, navigate pain, make decisions, and experience our lives.
Today, I bring those worlds together through an integrative approach to embodiment and coaching. Drawing from movement, strength, nervous-system science, somatic practices, Postural Restoration, applied neurology, and deep inquiry, I look for connections across systems rather than viewing a person through a single lens.
This is one of the things people know me for: seeing relationships that others may overlook. A movement pattern may connect to breathing. Pain may influence sleep, confidence, or intimacy. Chronic stress may show up in the way someone moves, rests, relates, or experiences pleasure. A problem that appears to belong to one part of life may make more sense when we widen the lens.
I don't claim to have all the answers. I do know how to ask different questions, connect seemingly unrelated pieces, and help people explore approaches to health, healing, and change they may not have considered before.
I'm especially interested in the things we're often taught to dismiss as indulgent: pleasure, rest, desire, connection, and feeling genuinely good. I don't believe these are extras. In a culture that often rewards exhaustion, productivity, and disconnection from our bodies, reclaiming them can be an act of agency.
My work is curious, practical, playful, and deeply human. We can talk about biomechanics and your nervous system—and we can talk about sex, grief, ambition, relationships, purpose, or why you're doing everything “right” and still don't feel the way you want to feel.
Because your body and your life aren't separate problems to solve.
I want you to feel good in the body you're living in—and clear about the life you want to live.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
I hold a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts and am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and Certified Personal Trainer. My additional training includes the Safe and Sound Protocol, Rest and Restore Protocol, Postural Restoration, integrative craniosacral therapy, somatic practices, and nervous-system education.
I'm also the founder and Artistic Director of New Breed Dance Company, a professional jazz company based in Boulder, Colorado.
I'm a mother to three sons and a Certified Nursing Assistant for my youngest son, who lives with physical and developmental disabilities. I became his CNA so I could participate directly in his daily care and support while developing a deeper understanding of his complex needs.
That role has profoundly shaped the practitioner I am today. Advocating for him has required me to learn across disciplines, ask questions when conventional answers weren't enough, and pay attention to connections between systems that can easily be missed when each specialist is focused on only one piece of the person.
He has taught me that bodies are complex, adaptation matters, and meaningful progress doesn't always follow a straight line. He has also reinforced something fundamental to my work: the person is always bigger than the problem we're trying to solve.
After decades spent studying bodies, movement, performance, and human potential, I'm less interested in perfection than ever.
I'm interested in capacity. Pleasure. Rest. Connection. Choice. Purpose. And what becomes possible when we approach the whole person with curiosity, compassion, and care.
